We were thrilled to get a package out of customs today! Some things have been taking 6 weeks to get to us lately from the states! Well today we got a package from my sister & her family. In it were lots of fun little things to go through. Besides a nice card of her beautiful daughter (whom is getting so big), a nice note to us all & a calendar that has pictures of all of our kids with my & Sean’s nieces & nephews…our childrens’ cousins… whom we love & miss so much. It is beautiful, adorable & entertaining! We love it!!

It was fun to look at the calendar & go through all the little toys for the orphans. Sharon, Chloe’s 2008 White House Ornament is beautiful! Thank you for thinking of us & taking the time to collect the toys & the time to send us that package!

Also, call us strange, but it was nice to “smell” the “smell” of America or Sharons house…whatever it was that engulfed the box & items in it. Something must be happening to our senses because other than smelling urine & gagging if we are standing or walking right in an area where people have found it nice to relieve themselves along the road & walls, we don’t seem to notice all of the many smells that used to be so disgusting to us here….ohhh, life in Haiti…

YAY! A Package!!!!

Our kids call these glow bugs or glow worms. We sometimes see them on the ground in the grass or in the dirt at night. Easton caught one & brought it home to show me last week. The last pic is what you see at night…their little lit up rear ends stick out but you don’t see the bugs body…

Cool!! img_3931 This is what they look like on the ground at night...
